Work
Games, VR research, apps, and art made from physics. Newest first, roughly.

Squingle Arcade
A free-to-play VR and mixed-reality puzzle game for Meta Quest and SteamVR, published by VRAL Games. Guide glowing orbs through 60+ morphing 3D mazes and chase the leaderboards.

Sleepy Speculations
A long-form philosophical sleep podcast: slow, wandering walks through metaphysics, physics and consciousness, designed to be fallen asleep inside.

Squingle
The original psychedelic VR puzzle game. Guide revolving orbs through glass-like 3D mazes on a cosmic journey. A five-star cult classic and Best VR Game finalist at GDWC 2021.

Crystal Vibes feat. Ott
A psychedelic VR music experience with producer Ott and the Synesthesia Suit. Premiered at Sundance New Frontier 2017, later released on SteamVR.

Liquid Crystals
Polarised-light photographs of liquid crystals from doctoral research at Oxford and Leeds, collected in the IOP book Liquid Crystals and used in a Max Cooper music video.

Intrascend
A free psychedelic VR game for Quest and Pico. Fly through an infinite series of expanding geometries, steering with your head or the stick.

AnyOrbit: Orbital Navigation
A 6DOF navigation technique built on orbital and spiral trajectories, for VR, CAD and 3D sports spectating. Best Poster Award at SUI 2016; open source.

Neutrino
A VR rhythm-action juggling game prototype. Keep the beat while juggling through mind-bending topology. Shown at Dubai International Film Festival 2017.

Planet Juggle
A VR juggling simulator. Learn one to nine balls with reduced gravity on the Moon, Mars, Venus or Neptune, every throw making a sound.

Matrix Music Visualizer
Real-time sound-to-colour visualisation grounded in how humans perceive sound and light, released as an iOS app and explored in VR presence research.
Spectrum: VR Music Visualisation
A VR music visualiser made with producers James Le Roux, Venaccio, Flights of Helios and Haruna Fushimi. Time becomes position, loudness size, frequency colour.

Music Painting
An iOS app that imagines what music would look like as paintings, by mapping sound frequencies to light frequencies.

Sound Pictures
Still images of whole songs: their frequency spectra mapped through the eye's cone sensitivities to the colours we would see if sound were light.

Ink
Ink and brush drawings. An hour or two of calm in the space between thoughts.

Mobile apps
Music visualisers and synesthesia toys for iPhone, iPad and Android, plus Crystal Vibes on Steam.
